The Brotherhood of Pursuits & Pastimes operates two premium sports bars - one on Mount Street in Manchester and another on New Briggate in Leeds. Set beneath stunning Grade II listed Victorian architecture, both venues serve food and cocktails alongside live sport on dozens of 4K screens, pool tables, darts and private hire spaces. With two cities, two teams and a high-volume food and drink operation, keeping compliance consistent was a priority.
Running two high-footfall venues across different cities meant the management team couldn't be in two places at once. Compliance checks were being done inconsistently - what was standard practice in Manchester wasn't always mirrored in Leeds. Communication between sites relied on WhatsApp and word of mouth, which left gaps.
"When you've got two venues in two cities, you need to know that standards are the same everywhere - not just hope they are."
- Mason Fox, General Manager, Manchester
"It's taken the guesswork out of running two sites. Everything's transparent now."
- Alex Myers, General Manager, Leeds
Aquaint provided a single platform for both venues. Standardised templates ensured Manchester and Leeds ran identical compliance checks. Real-time site scores gave owner Seema Dhiman and the management team instant visibility into both locations without needing to travel between them. Staff in both cities adopted the app quickly thanks to its mobile-first design.
"I can check how Leeds is doing from my phone in Manchester. That kind of visibility didn't exist before."
- Mason Fox, General Manager, Manchester
