The Ministry is a 50,000 sqft members' club, bar and events venue in Borough, South London - a restored Victorian printworks just around the corner from Ministry of Sound. With two floors of event spaces, London's longest copper bar, a gym, deli, and co-working spaces, the venue juggles food service, private hire, daily events and a packed weekly calendar. Managing compliance across that many moving parts required a solution that could keep up.
With multiple food and drink service areas, daily events and high footfall, The Ministry's team needed a way to manage compliance checks, temperature logs and team communication without things falling through the cracks. Existing processes were fragmented - different tools for different tasks, no single view of what had been done and what hadn't.
"When you're running a venue this size with events every night, you can't afford to be chasing paper or scrolling through WhatsApp to check if the fridges were logged."
- Niall Baker, General Manager
"It's made compliance something that just happens rather than something we have to chase. That's a big deal for a venue our size."
- Niall Baker, General Manager
Aquaint replaced multiple fragmented systems with one mobile-first platform. Staff across different areas of the venue now complete compliance checks, log temperatures, and communicate through a single app. Managers get real-time visibility into task completion across the entire venue without chasing anyone.
"The team actually use it - that's the difference. It's quick, it's on their phones, and I can see everything from one dashboard."
- Nate Chin-Yue, Assistant General Manager
